Internet in Guinea-Bissau

Guinea-Bissau established a full Internet service with help from the USAID Leland Initiative program.  GT is the sole ISP in the country.  A company called SITEC operates cybercafes in Guinea-Bissau that are called Duni@.  This company is also lobbying the government for permission to begin its own ISP.  Poor phone lines prevent access throughout the country.  Smaller towns do not even have telephone service.
