Internet in Libya
Libya's main networking agency is the Centre Nationalde l'Information et de la Documentation (NIDA). This agency is trying to establish Internet connectivity with little success. The United Nations sanctions imposed against Libya prevent the country from receiving international assistance to start up an Internet access program. There are no known ISPs in Libya.
