Internet in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo
In the D.R. Congo, there is little connectivity because of poor phone lines. Many people have turned to radio-modems in order to get access. Two of these service providers are Motorola-Kinshasa and Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). One standard ISP called InterConnect exists and an Ugandan company called BushNet has an HF radio Internet gateway. Two private organizations made attempts to set up and operate ISPs but failed.
