Internet in Mali
An Internet hub was established in Mali by the national telecom company, SOTELMA. Four ISPs were selected after open applications were accepted. The ISPs are Bintta SA/MaliNet, Cefib, Datatech and Spider. Dial up access subscription fees start at 25000 FCFA per month for 14 hours access with 3000 FCFA per additional hour. Unlimited access is about 70000 FCFA per month. Local callscost .85 FCFA for the first minute and .85 FCFA per every three minutes after the first minute.
