Internet in Mozambique

The University Eduardo Mondlane operates the largest Internet service.  The other provider is Teledate.  The USAID Leland Initiative Program has also helped Mozambique to set up an Internet link between Maputo and the US.  Five companies have set up service based on this line.  These are Virtual Connection, Computer Solutions, Micro Net-Tropical Alliance, EMIL and GARP.  A radio email service is available via MAFNet.  Internet access at Mozambique is fairly inexpensive.  It only runs about 25 USD a month with a local call costing .80 USD per hour.
